How Our Custom Pet Sculptures Are Made: Craftsmanship & Materials
Every ToutouPets custom pet sculpture is individually created from your pet’s photos.
Rather than choosing a generic figurine that simply resembles your dog or cat, we use your reference photos to recreate the colors, markings, proportions, and distinctive features that make your pet recognizable.

Individually Made From Your Pet Photos
Each sculpture begins with the photos you provide.
Our artists review important visual details such as:
- Face shape
- Coat color
- Unique markings
- Ear shape
- Eye appearance
- Body proportions
- Tail shape
- Pose
- Other distinctive features
These details are used as reference throughout the creation process.
Handcrafted, Not Mass-Produced
ToutouPets sculptures are individually made rather than produced as identical mass-market figurines.
Because every pet looks different, each custom sculpture requires its own reference process, detailing, coloring, and finishing.
This also means that slight handmade variations may naturally occur from piece to piece.
Hand-Painted Details
After the sculpture is formed, important visual details are carefully painted by hand.
We use your pet’s reference photos to recreate features such as:
- Coat colors
- Spots and patches
- Facial markings
- Ear details
- Eyes
- Nose
- Other recognizable characteristics
The goal is not to create a generic breed model, but a sculpture inspired by your individual pet.
Materials
Our custom pet sculptures are primarily made using resin-based materials selected for their ability to hold shape and fine visual details.
The finished sculpture is then carefully detailed, painted, and finished by hand.
Because each piece is individually handmade, minor differences in texture, color, and proportions may occur.
Why We Use Resin
Resin is well suited for custom miniature sculptures because it can:
- Hold small sculptural details
- Maintain a stable finished shape
- Provide a smooth surface for hand-painting
- Work well for small decorative display pieces
As with most decorative sculptures, the finished piece should still be handled with care.
How to Care for Your Sculpture
To help keep your sculpture in good condition:
- Keep it away from excessive heat
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight
- Do not soak it in water
- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth
- Avoid dropping or placing heavy objects on it
- Keep small pieces away from young children and pets
Our sculptures are designed primarily as decorative keepsakes rather than toys.

Is Every Sculpture Exactly the Same?
No.
Every ToutouPets sculpture is individually handmade from the reference photos provided by the customer.
Because of the handcrafted process, slight variations in color, proportions, texture, and small details may occur.
These natural differences are part of what makes each sculpture unique.
What Makes a ToutouPets Sculpture Personal?
The most important part of the process is the reference material you provide.
Your pet’s markings, colors, facial characteristics, and distinctive details guide the design and finishing of the sculpture.
That means your finished piece is created specifically around your pet rather than selected from a standard template.
Made from your photos. Handmade just for you.
